Review of the Fantastic Jackson Reece Baby Wipes!!!!

I have recently been reviewing the baby wipes by jackson reece, and they are by far my favourite of all the brands as of now.  Before this I didn't really know much about them but they are going to get more popular I am sure!

'jackson reece' first started in 1999 by Colin and Janet and it was due to their little son Jackson getting very unwell due to having eczema and using steroid cream which not only thins the skin but destroys the immune system.  They discovered that the alcohol present in many baby wipes compounded the condition, which must have been awful!!

Colin and Janet sourced a high quality bio-degradable cloth that incorporated a natural, herbal formulation containing certified organic aloe vera, tea tree oil and lavender oil.  They also wanted to eliminate the harsh chemicals found in water by purifying the water to a high standard. Any product that contains water provides a breeding ground for bacteria, yeast, and fungi. With this in mind they made an ethical decision on the use of the preservatives used in our wipes. They took a long time developing a natural vegetable based preservative system which would also be suitable for vegans.

The four ingredients and benefits are

  • Aloe Vera-  The leaves contain a gel which has an immediate healing effect on wounds and burns. The gel acts like a protective coating on the skin and accelerates the healing process. It is also a mild anaesthetic and relieves pain and itching. It increases the flow of blood and reduces inflammation, swelling and redness.
  • Tea Tree Oil- Australian aboriginals used tea tree leaves for healing skin cuts, burns, and infections by crushing the leaves and applying them to the affected area. Tea tree oil contains constituents called terpenoids, which have been found to have antiseptic and antifungal activity. Tea tree oil is commonly used as a treatment for acne, athlete's foot, dandruff and exzema.
  • Lavender Oil - There are many good reasons why lavender is in the Jackson Reece formula. It smells great, relaxing oil, which combats stress and has a healing effect and is useful for skin problems, wounds, insect bites and stings.
  • Purified Water- We think it’s important to filter water to a high standard to kill any harmful bacteria
The wipes are just fantastic, they smell just as a baby wipe should, soothing scent so you know the best ingredients will be put on our precious baby's skin, the feel is not too wet not too dry!!
I love the fact that you can pull one wipe out at a time and they don't rip as you mummy's know during a dirty nappy this is essential!!
I also think this is the first ever wipe I have been able to clean my cocolate covered daughter using one, yes one wipe!!! Not 10!!

You can Buy these Brilliant Wipes from Sainsburys for £1.98 and Tesco £2.00 as states on my supermarket.co.uk as of now!
