Earth Friendly Baby Review

I was delighted to be asked to review a couple of products from 'Earth Friendly Baby' as I had read some fantastic reviews already.

Earth Friendly Baby’s aim is to create high quality  baby toiletries that are better for babies and their world, but at an affordable price that makes them accessible to everyone. Earth Friendly baby tries to run their company in a socially and environmentally friendly way.  Earth Friendly Baby’s ingredients are plant-derived where possible and biodegradable. They don’t use parabens, sls, synthetic colour or fragrance or petroleum based oils.  None of the products are tested on animals, and all products are suitable for vegetarians. All the products except the creams which use beeswax are also suitable for vegans.  All this is just what parents want for their children and the world around them.

A little bit about the history of Earth Friendly Baby...   Originally started in the USA in 1998, Earth Friendly Baby is now a UK owned company. The people behind the brand all have children of their own, so they have a really good idea about babies and their needs. That’s why they’ve thought of lots of helpful little features such as one-handed, flip-top lids for the body wash and easy to use pumps for the body lotions so that you can hold that slippery wriggly baby nice and secure with your other hand!

The first product I reviewed was Organic Mandarin Shampoo and Body wash.  Well I can tell you bathtime was much easier as this is all in one clenser for hair and body.  Annabelle absolutely hates having her hair washed but as she thought it wasn't shampoo she was much more relaxed and I was able to wash her hair discreetly with ease. The packaging is great and very easy to open with one hand whilst holding a child that needs the extra support like my little Callum.
They have been specially created to gently cleanse Baby’s delicate hair and skin without leaving behind residue. Earth Friendly Baby specifically chose Chamomile as a key ingredient, because for centuries, Chamomile has been used for its gentle healing properties – ideal for babies. They have added more organic plant oils to improve skin cleansing effect and give a refreshing scent.

This product is approx £3.99 but have a search as they are sold by plenty of companies plus the Earth Friendly Baby range of products are available from selected Waitrose, John Lewis, Sainbury's, Boots & leading independent baby stores, health stores and selected pharmacies.

The Mandarin Body Lotion was the second prodcut we reviewed. Earth Friendly Baby Organic Mandarin Body Lotion is ideal for use all over your baby's skin, leaving it gently soothed and moisturised.  Another excellent product in the Earth Friendly Baby range of body lotions, the Organic Mandarin Body Lotion will keep baby's skin soft and supple. Safe for daily use, you can use it as an all-over massage after baby's bath or as needed on dry skin areas. You and baby will enjoy the delicious aroma of organic mandarin.  Callum gets dry skin on his stomach and it helps keep it at bay.  It feels gorgeous when it has been applied to the skin, I have even used it too as it smells divine.
This is approx £5 but again have a search online plus the Earth Friendly Baby range of products are available from selected Waitrose, John Lewis, Sainbury's, Boots & leading independent baby stores, health stores and selected pharmacies.
